We can test for 12 of the most common used drugs.

Presently we provide Testing services for:

1. Private Companies / Municipal, Provincial, Federal Governments

2. US Department of Transportation regulated companies: Under United States Department of Transportation (DoT) regulations, trucking companies with US bound truckers must initiate a drug and alcohol policy that fulfills the Department's requirements.  New drivers are subjected to a urine drug screen as a pre-employment procedure.  Drivers operating in the US are required to partake in a random alcohol / drug testing program.

3. Private Individuals

HeartQuest provides two types of Drug and Alcohol Tests:

1. Point of Care Testing (POCT): Results are available in 5 minutes

2. Lab based GC/MS Testing: Test is sent to an independant lab and results are available within a few days. This testing utilizes the services of a Medical Review Officer (see below), and HeartQuest abides by industry standard secure collection techniques that will stand up in court if necessary.

MRO Services

An MRO is a Specialized Addictions Doctor who acts as an independent and impartial "gatekeeper" and advocate for the accuracy and integrity of the drug testing process.  The MRO determines if there is a legitimate medical explanation for positive laboratory results, as well as adulterated, substituted and invalid drug test results.

Mandatory alcohol and drug testing is now required with several Ministry of Children and Family districts, and all intrastate truckers and other transportation workers crossing international borders. More than 70 percent of large private employers require drug and alcohol testing.

HeartQuest utilizes the services of a Medical Review Officer to oversee the entire Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
